 Ed Note

Can thousands of dollars be saved when a home is sold without benefit of a REALTOR®?  Yes, if we’re talking about the buyer saving money.

According to research by the National Association of REALTORS®, the median purchase price of homes sold by owner is more than 15 percent lower than those sold through an agent.

Savvy investors, watch carefully for FSBO ads looking to buy property below market value. Then, they usually go to a REALTOR® to handle the resale, for a quicker turn around at a more profitable price.

FSBO is not a good way to sell a home.  It is a good way to buy one, if you know what you’re doing, and are willing to assume some risks.

A Mountain Treasure

Welcome to Vision Academy to the Arts

Vision Academy of the arts was formed by a group of individuals who saw that our beautiful scenery attracted artists of all disciplines. In 1994, we began with four workshops and now have well over 60. Vision Academy - Entertainment, Enrichment, and Education

Our dream is to one day develop an actual ArtCenter, where classes , workshops, and performances can take place. For now we are grateful to local schools and churches that have made their facilities available to us. We also want to thank the hundreds of people whose participation has made our workshops dynamic adventures for everyone involved. Please call, write or e-mail us if you have ideas for the future development of our efforts in bringing this "Vision" to light.

Our instructors are accomplished and dedicated professionals in their fields. Our students range from professionals to novices. Vision receives no federal or state funding and is made up entirely of community volunteers.
